Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, role, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text) for anyone we create a login for.
• Dealership performance data — assessment answers, KPIs, and other operational information a dealership shares with us to generate diagnostics, reports, and proposals.
• Prospect and outreach data — business contact details (name, dealership, email) for dealerships we or our clients are prospecting, and the resulting email correspondence.
• Integration data — when you connect a third-party account (Google Workspace for calendar and email, LinkedIn for our Company Page), we store only the access tokens and account identifiers needed to act on your behalf, encrypted at rest.
• Usage and audit data — logs of actions taken in the platform (who approved a report, who generated a proposal) kept for accountability and security.

How we use it

• To generate assessments, weekly reports, proposals, and social content — every AI-drafted output is reviewed by a person before it reaches a client or goes out publicly.
• To schedule meetings, send emails, and post approved content through the integrations you explicitly connect.
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform, including detecting and preventing abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account or engagement with Versatile Dealer.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use dealership performance data to train third-party AI models beyond the single request needed to generate your output.

Third parties we share data with

We use a small number of infrastructure and AI providers to operate the platform — including Anthropic (AI-drafted content), Google (calendar and email sending), and LinkedIn (when you connect our Company Page to publish approved posts). Each only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function, and none may use it for their own advertising purposes.

Data retention

We retain account and dealership data for as long as your engagement with Versatile Dealer is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, accounting, or audit obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time using the contact details below.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can disconnect any third-party integration at any time from Settings. Disconnecting stops future access immediately; it does not retroactively delete content already created.
